Across The Table

I have waited, and kept you waiting
And I love it when I see
The colours dancing in your eyes
When you are angry at me

Countless times, I see your smile
And I go weak in the knees
And when you ask me what I feel
I take whatever I can steal

You sit across the table from me
And I just sit and stare
You laugh it all away when I say
That there's music in your hair

You toy with your emotions
When there's nothing to hide
I want to know, I wont tell
Whatever it is that I find

You open up your book
And I flip through it's pages
I know you from yesterday
And it seems like ages

Your hands they brush with mine
In an accident that I don't mind
You sit across the table
While I look for what I can find
